Join Damien Gibbs for a sound bath experience to open your capacity to allow, share, and express the inward movement to gain closure or open up to new awareness from a heart centered sense of belonging. Damien brings gongs to our community to aid in these times when love and grounded presence is so needed. His sound baths include gongs, drums, Shruti box, voice, Japanese Rin Gong, guitar, chimes, bells and the space in between as we collect our depths in the softness of silence.Being embraced by sound is like a hug from the deepest parts of ourselves that yearn to be filled with love, affection, understanding, acknowledgement, and acceptance while also moving through despair, loneliness, loss, and pieces of shadow and the need for resolve.
We yearn to shed light on the parts of us we don't love. The spectrum of experience brings us closer to our grief, our joy and stretches our capacity for turning inward to love and express outward in love.
Damien is a Holistic Therapist (LCSW) at Chico Holistic Wellness Center. He offers emotional support in times of change, grief and loss, mental health, somatic/nervous system work, trauma, and assistance in awakening to life purpose. He supports all individuals in moving toward union with self through sound therapy (one to one and in groups), Reflexology, and Reiki.
