Cheri Neal

Cheri Neal is an Herbalist from Paradise, CA. The focus of her practice is on the medicinal herbs of the Pacific Northwest, and La’au Lapa Au (traditional Hawaiian herbal medicine). She is the creator of Herban Myth Botanicals, a line of wellness formulas and first-aid, as well as Officinalis Skincare, a line of plant-based organic skincare. Her products are a loving combination of Hawaiian Tropical, Mediterranean, and Northern Californian ingredients, using 100% organic, wildcrafted and ethically and sustainably sourced materials. Ethical Wildcrafting is central to her practice, and many plants used in her products are cultivated in her organic home garden.  She has a line of rotating seasonal tinctures and medicinal oils, along with custom wellness and body care products.  She teaches herbalism workshops and leads plant medicine ceremonies and retreats with an emphasis on building relationships with plants and the earth as part of one’s healing journey. She is the herbalist behind the Herban Myth Apothecary, located within Chico Holistic Wellness Center

Rachel Nelson

Rachel has been studying and working with herbs for over 18 years. Her studies started with the American College of Healthcare Sciences and she holds an Honors Diploma in Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy. Rachel studied with Kathi Keville at the Green Medicine School’s Apprenticeship program locally in Grass Valley. She also self-studies Ayurveda as half of her heritage hails from India. Ayurveda’s constitutional system plays a key role in her consultation work allowing her to tailor herbal formulations for each client.

Rachel continued her herbal studies with Sajah Popam at the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, graduating with a Certificate in the Alchemical Herbalism program. She is currently studying organic skincare formulation at Formula Botanica, an international online cosmetic school to deepen her knowledge of skincare formulation. Rachel has a passion for Botanical Perfume and successfully completed Roxana Villa’s Art of Botanical Perfume online course where she studied in depth about all things Perfume.

She offers Herbal Medicine, Aromatherapy and Botanical Perfume consultations. She formulates and curates botanical products for beauty, medicine and magick at Moon Wise Herbals, her botanical products company. Everything she offers is made with intention and purpose and meant to be helpful for your everyday health, wellness and spiritual joy. Rachel intentionally and ethically wild harvests many of the botanicals she uses for curating products while carefully sourcing all other ingredients from suppliers that she loves and trusts, both local and non-local.

Laura Nicholas

Laura is a spirited herbalist and devoted mother, and the herbalist behind Triple Goddess Herbals and Elixirs. Triple Goddess Herbals, named in ode to her three daughters and the Triple Goddess Hecate, was born out of Laura’s playful passion for discovering the many ways in which Mother Nature and Motherhood reflect and compliment eachother. As a licensed cosmetologist with a background in the beauty and wellness industry, Laura has especially fallen in love with using Earth’s herbal allies in topical oil infusions, balms, salves and beauty elixirs in her home and with her daughters, breeding confidence that she is using the highest quality and safest ingredients- and Laura loves that she gets to teach her little ones different ways to play in Mother Nature. Laura believes that as we incorporate the Earths natural elements into our everyday lives, we become entangled in a beautiful, reciprocal and synergistic relationship with nature that  enhances our overall well-being and being alignment to any imbalances in our lives. Laura strives for her products to allow you to connect with, and embody, our own inner authentic beauty and unique divinities. 

Laura grew up in Los Angeles, CA with an affinity to nature that was not given a fair chance to fully express itself until she landed in Chico (or rather the Universe divinely led her here!) It is in Chico that she experienced her inner child coming alive with inspiration and creativity. Laura began to sit with herbs and the natural elements, to learn from the Earth and from other local wise women, and from there her journey with herbs really began to expand. Laura began making and using herbal remedies in her home, and was soon passing them out to friends and co workers. Laura has expressed that as an herbalist she feels she is coming back home to her whole self. This is the experience Laura wishes to share with her community through Triple Goddess Herbals & Elixirs.
